aged 48 years
His humble Christian piety his filial and fraternal affection
and his benevolence had long endeared him to
those who enjoyed his society
.t his bereaved widow with an ernest prayer for res..ation to the will of Him who giveth and who
taketh away has caused this tablet to be
erected to commemorate the conjugal
and parental love enjoyed by
herself and nine surviv-
ing children
Blessed are the Dead who die in the Lord
Beneath rest also the mortal remains
of
WILLIAM SMITH Esqr M.D.
brother of the above likewise of British Guiana
he died 6th March 1883
