ANNE WILHELMINA, the wife of CHARLES HENRY DARLING Esqre
(Private Secretary to the Governor of this Island)
and daughter of ALLEN DALZELL Esqre of Buttalls in the Parish of St. George.
Her mortal remains rest in a neighbouring Island:
But this tablet is erected in the church of her native parish
in affectionate remembrance of one whose lowly piety and many gentle virtues
deeply endeared her to all those who claimed in her a daughter, sister, friend:
and give her husband just reason to deplore the loss of
the greatest of God's blessings; a Christian wife
born 13th July 1813, died 16th October 1837
